Due to Hurricane Matthew, Greenlands Farm has rescheduled the Fall Community Day for Saturday, October 22, 2016, from 10AM to 2PM. The day will include fall activities for the kids, including games and crafts. There will be opportunities to meet, learn from, and interact with all of the rescued farm animals. Farm animal rides will happen throughout the day (subject to staff, animal health, and weather). Enjoy farm fresh goods, sweets and treats, ice cream, and more at the Farm Store!
All donations, petting farm admissions, and funds raised from rides will benefit the farm animal sanctuary located at Greenlands Farm, Helpers Of Our Farm. HOOF is a nonprofit organization centered around education and providing a sanctuary for rescued, donated, and in-need farm animals. Their mission is to provide continued care and a sanctuary to farm animals in need, educate children and adults by creating awareness of rescues and their needs, and demonstrate through animal rides and farm animal jobs how a rescue’s life can be re-purposed for good. HOOF is a platform for the community to learn, grow, and volunteer.
Come join Greenlands farm in celebrating our community and those who make a difference in it! This event is a fundraiser for your local educational farm and farm animal sanctuary who can't continue their work without your support. Can't make it but you see the value in HOOF's efforts to make a difference in your community? Consider a small donation! DONATE NOW
